Weight-based shipping is a useful feature for WooCommerce store owners to offer their customers an accurate shipping rate based on the weight of their orders. Here's how to add weight-based shipping to WooCommerce in WordPress:

  1. Install and activate the WooCommerce plugin.
  2. Go to WooCommerce > Settings from the WordPress admin dashboard.
  3. Click on the Shipping tab at the top of the page.
  4. Click on the Add Shipping Zone button to add a new shipping zone.
  5. Name the shipping zone and select the region(s) where you will ship to.
  6. Under the Shipping Methods tab, click on the Add Shipping Method button.
  7. Select the "Flat Rate" shipping method from the dropdown menu.
  8. Enter the name of the shipping method, and set the cost to "0".
  9. Under the "Calculation Type" section, select "Per Order" and click the Save Changes button.
  10. Click on the Add Shipping Method button again, and select the "Weight Based Shipping" method from the dropdown menu.
  11. Enter the name of the shipping method, and set the cost to "0".
  12. Under the "Calculation Type" section, select "Per Order".
  13. Under the "Add Shipping Rates" section, click on the "Add Row" button to add weight-based shipping rates.
  14. Enter the weight ranges and corresponding shipping costs for each rate.
  15. Click the Save Changes button.

That's it! Your customers will now be charged a shipping rate based on the weight of their orders.
